Wood County Permit Training
This training class will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. in the Fire Department Training Room, 2nd floor, 230 Clinton Street Wauseon, Ohio 43567.
FINAL BRUSH PICK UP OF THE YEAR
The Public Works Department is gearing up for leaf pick up season! Crews will be conducting the final brush pick-up services for 2019! The crews will pick up in the north section of the city on the 1st and 3rd weeks (October 7th & 21st) and in the south section on the 2nd and 4th weeks (October 14th & 28th). ***The north and south sections are divided by the Norfolk & Western railroad tracks. Branches and limbs must be cut no longer than six feet in length and three inches in diameter. Branches and limbs must be stacked in a straight pile with the butt ends in one direction. Brush will not be picked up in alleys. Chunk wood will be picked up if piled at the curb and not heavier than 75 pounds. **Please note, only branches and limbs will be picked up. If you cut down an entire tree, you are responsible for removal of this wood. Contractors trimming or cutting trees are also responsible for wood removal. 2019 Trick or Treat
The City of Wauseon Trick or Treat will be Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 6 to 7:30 PM. There will be donuts and cider served at the Fire Station immediately following. Hope to see you there! Please click below for Halloween safety tips provided by the Wauseon Police Department.
