The Public Works Department is gearing up for leaf pick up season!

Crews will be conducting the final brush pick-up services for 2019!

The crews will pick up in the north section of the city on the 1st and 3rd weeks (October 7th & 21st) and in the south section on the 2nd and 4th weeks (October 14th & 28th).

***The north and south sections are divided by the Norfolk & Western railroad tracks.

Branches and limbs must be cut no longer than six feet in length and three inches in diameter. Branches and limbs must be stacked in a straight pile with the butt ends in one direction. Brush will not be picked up in alleys. Chunk wood will be picked up if piled at the curb and not heavier than 75 pounds.

**Please note, only branches and limbs will be picked up. If you cut down an entire tree, you are responsible for removal of this wood. Contractors trimming or cutting trees are also responsible for wood removal.

When leaf pickup begins, there will be no brush pickup.

If you have any questions, please call the Public Works Department at 419-335-8376.
